When An Owl Sounds Your Name
As she looked to her heart searching for reason
Longing to understand pain
Had a flurry of emotion just left her
Or had a flutter of feathers been gained?
As she searches her heart, it’s wide open
And love mirrors in penetrative eyes
Were those talons, she felt that had stabbed her
Or had emotion swooped into the skies?
As she knows in her heart, they will be preying
Hunting for loves inner whisper
Was fear the reason she’s starving
And was hunger the reason he kissed her?
But she feels in her heart,
love will find her, one day
in a nest shielded from pain
Will a wingspan be guiding her to him
Or had an owl just sounded his name?
